Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate Maths Teacher for a Weymouth secondary school to teach KS3 & KS4 on a full-time basis. The role starts ASAP and offers a supportive environment where you can inspire confidence and raise attainment.

You will deliver high-quality lessons, plan and assess in line with the national curriculum, and work with colleagues to support students of varying abilities while developing professionally.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Maths at secondary school level.
• Strong classroom management and ability to raise attainment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to inspire, engage and challenge students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan, prep and assess lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Create a positive inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor and track pupil attainment and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to school life.
