Job summary

Aspire People are partnering with a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school to recruit an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their team.

You will teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with Key Stage 5 experience desirable but not essential, and you will plan engaging lessons while assessing and supporting student progress. The role promotes professional development and staff wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching Mathematics in a secondary school setting.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Is committed to helping every student achieve their full potential.
• Has a genuine passion for education and continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is desirable but not essential).
• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons that inspire a love of mathematics.
• Assess, monitor, and support student progress.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
