Job summary

Qualifications

• A Maths Teacher with the ability to teach Mathematics across the appropriate key stages.
• A formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge and an ability to communicate mathematical ideas clearly.
• The ability to plan structured lessons that support progress and challenge students appropriately.
• Experience using formative and summative assessment to inform teaching.
• The ability to identify learning gaps and implement effective intervention strategies.
• Strong classroom management, organisation and communication skills.
• A commitment to inclusive teaching, safeguarding and student achievement.
• Legal eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons across the appropriate key stages.
• Plan lessons building on prior learning and using diverse teaching approaches.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to address misconceptions.
• Help students develop exam techniques and confidence in multi-step problems.
• Collaborate with colleagues on planning, assessment and resource development.
