Job summary

Coleg Cambria is seeking a Maths Lecturer to deliver Functional Skills Maths and GCSE Maths across adult and younger learners. You will provide high-quality, classroom-based teaching, learner support, and flexible commitments including full-time, part-time, temporary or permanent arrangements.

Appointments may be permanent, fixed-term, or FE Bank based on curriculum needs. A degree in Mathematics and a recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain one) are required.

Qualifications

• A degree or relevant qualification in Mathematics or a related field.
• A recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to obtain one
• Previous experience delivering Functional Skills Maths and/or GCSE Maths
• A learner-focused, inclusive teaching approach

Responsibilities

• Delivering Functional Skills Maths (Entry Level through to Level 2)
• Teaching GCSE Maths to learners resitting exams
• Supporting both younger learners and adult students
• Providing high-quality, classroom-based teaching and learner support
• Taking on short-term, long-term, or ongoing teaching commitments
