Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Ltd is seeking a dedicated Maths Lecturer to contribute to the education of students in a dynamic further education environment, delivering GCSE and Functional Skills Maths. This temporary role offers an opportunity to teach in a supportive college setting.

The position starts on 14 September 2026 for a minimum four weeks, with potential extension. You will prepare lessons, monitor progress, and collaborate with colleagues to uphold college standards and engage learners.

Qualifications

• A UK recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
• Experience delivering GCSE and Functional Skills Maths.
• Strong subject knowledge in Maths and related fields.
• Current DBS on the update service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons in Maths for GCSE and Functional Skills.
• Provide additional support to students as necessary.
• Monitor student progress and performance, ensuring adherence to college standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience.
• Prepare lesson plans and assess student work.
