Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Limited is seeking an experienced Maths Lecturer in Bedford to deliver high-quality Maths education within a Further Education setting. You will teach GCSE Maths and Functional Skills Maths and support learners toward progression.

The role is full-time (37 hours per week) on a temporary contract, starting in September. You will plan lessons, monitor learner progress, provide feedback and work with colleagues to create an inclusive, engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

Experience teaching Maths in FE or Sixth Form.
Strong knowledge of Maths and related areas.
Degree in Mathematics or Maths Education.
Experience delivering GCSE or Functional Skills Maths.
Excellent communication and classroom management.
Passion for helping students achieve goals.

Responsibilities

Deliver GCSE Maths, Functional Skills Maths and other Maths programmes.
Plan and deliver lessons, learning activities and assessments.
Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain accurate records of student achievement and progress.
Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Work collaboratively with the wider teaching team.
Support students in developing the skills required for further study and employment.
Use engaging teaching methods to develop students' mathematical knowledge and confidence.
