Job summary
Aspire People is seeking experienced GCSE Maths lecturers to teach at FE colleges across Monmouthshire and South Wales. You will deliver GCSE Maths and Essential Skills Maths, support learners toward qualifications, and create engaging lessons in a college environment.
Ideal candidates hold a Maths degree (or substantial teaching experience) and a recognised teaching qualification; ALN/SEN experience is a plus. Aspire People offers flexible roles, regular pay, and ongoing CPD.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mathematics or substantial teaching experience in maths.
- Desirable teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed/DTLLS/QTS/QTLS).
- Experience delivering GCSE Maths and essential skills maths.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging GCSE Maths and Essential Skills Maths lessons.
- Support learners toward essential maths qualifications for work or study.
- Prepare learners for GCSE exams and assessments.
- Differentiate instruction for varied abilities and needs.
- Track progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain an inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with curriculum teams to boost learner achievement.
