Job summary

Explore Learning is seeking a Maths and English Tutor for our Oldbury centre. This permanent, part-time role requires a minimum of 6 hours per week across at least two weekdays, with fixed slots in the afternoon.

You’ll deliver engaging sessions to small groups (1:6), build confidence, and help pupils progress through the national curriculum and GCSE preparation. You must be age 16+ and have the right to work in the UK, with GCSE grades 6+ in Maths and English.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 and right to work in the UK.
• GCSE grades 6+ in Maths and English or equivalent (predicted acceptable).
• Ability to lead sessions with small groups and maintain safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sessions that last and adapt using Compass.
• Build meaningful relationships with each child in a 1:6 ratio.
• Support progress through the national curriculum and GCSE preparation.
