Monkey Puzzle Woodford is seeking a Qualified Nursery Practitioner at Level 2 to join our team. Location is Woodford, with a starting salary from £28,600 per year, dependent on qualifications and experience.

You will support the nursery to deliver high standards of care and education, implement EYFS, and safeguard children while fostering a positive, engaging learning environment for all ages. The role requires teamwork with parents and staff to ensure children thrive.

Qualifications

• GCSE grades 5-9 or A-C required.
• Full and relevant Level 2 in Early Years is essential.
• Ability to ensure the safety and welfare of children with safeguarding knowledge.
• Appropriate behaviour management.
• Ability to participate in child observations and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Support the nursery to grow and perform at a high standard, ensuring EYFS frameworks are adhered to.
• Create inspirational, creative, learning environments in line with children's and nursery needs.
• Ensure safety and welfare of children with safeguarding procedures knowledge.
• Implement the EYFS with understanding of child development.
• Report issues of concern to a senior team member or relevant services.
• Work in partnership with parents and our partners to ensure children thrive.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude with children, parents, colleagues and visitors to maintain a happy nursery.
