Job summary

Monkey Puzzle Woodford is seeking a qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 2) to join the team. Location is Woodford with a starting salary of £28,600 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.

The role supports high standards of care and education, working with children in line with EYFS. You will collaborate with parents and staff to foster a safe, engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

• Good safeguarding knowledge and ability to adhere to EYFS frameworks.
• Ability to participate in child observations and assessments.
• Understanding of child development and ability to apply learning through play.

Responsibilities

• Support the nursery to grow and perform at a high standard in line with EYFS.
• Create inspiring learning environments tailored to children and the nursery.
• Safeguard and ensure safety and welfare of children.
• Implement EYFS with strong understanding of child development.
• Report concerns to senior team members or relevant services.
• Engage with parents and partners to support children's growth.
• Maintain a positive attitude with children, parents, colleagues and visitors.
