Job summary

Monkey Puzzle Lightwater is seeking a Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 3 or above) to join their team. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week at Monkey Puzzle Lightwater, with a salary starting from £29,120 per annum (dependent on qualification(s) and experience).

You will support the nursery to provide high standards of care and early years education, apply the EYFS framework, safeguard children, and work in partnership with parents to help every child thrive.

Qualifications

• GCSEs or equivalent (grades 5-9/A-C)
• Ability to ensure the safety and welfare of children through safeguarding knowledge
• Appropriate behaviour management
• Ability to participate in child observations and assessments with understanding of child development

Responsibilities

• Support the nursery to grow and perform at a high standard, adhering to EYFS frameworks and legislation.
• Create inspirational, creative, and effective learning environments in line with children's needs.
• Ensure the safety and welfare of children with safeguarding procedures.
• Implement the EYFS with understanding of child development.
• Report issues of concern to a senior team member or relevant services.
• Work in partnership with parents and partners to help children thrive.
• Show a positive attitude with children, parents, colleagues and visitors to maintain a happy nursery.
