Job summary

Bonnygate Primary School is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with learning and welfare within a welcoming team. The role is fixed-term until 31 August 2027, 30 hours per week, 8:45am–3:15pm, term time plus inset days.

The successful candidate will be passionate, creative, and able to adapt learning programs to individual needs, with strong safeguarding skills and excellent communication and organisation.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade 4–9 or equivalent.
• Experience supporting pupils in learning.
• Strong safeguarding and de-escalation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with learning activities and tasks.
• Assist in maintaining positive behaviour and classroom management.
• Adapt learning activities to meet individual pupil needs.
