Job summary

Southgate Primary School is looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive team on a full time, permanent basis. You will help deliver educational programmes and support day-to-day learning activities to help pupils reach their full potential.

Ideal candidates will have GCSE English and Maths, basic IT skills, strong communication, and a patient, confidential approach with children.

Qualifications

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C or above).
• Basic IT skills to support learning and administrative tasks.
• Strong communication skills to engage students effectively.
• Ability to follow teacher guidance and plan/prioritise tasks.
• Professional and confidential approach when working with children.
• Good time management and organisation for records and setup.
• Trustworthy, approachable attitude to help students.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Support children's education and development within a school setting.
• Assist in delivering educational programmes and day-to-day activities.
• Help in classroom setup and maintain records as required.
