Qualifications

• UK-recognized teaching qualification with QTS.
• Experience in Key Stage 1 / Year 2 curriculum and assessments.
• Strong phonics knowledge with Read Write Inc, Little Wandle or Sounds-Write.
• Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons for a diverse Year 2 class.
• Prepare pupils for KS1 assessments and track progress in reading, writing and maths.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom focusing on wellbeing, high expectations and behaviour management.
• Collaborate with KS1 colleagues, TAs, and SENCO to implement interventions for SEND or EAL pupils.
• Build strong relationships with parents to foster home-school engagement.
