Job summary

TeacherActive is assisting a mainstream FE college in Warwickshire to recruit a part-time Core Fashion Teacher for an immediate start. You will support Level 2 Fashion students through tutorials and 1:1 sessions, deliver practical fashion classes, and coordinate with senior staff on attendance and learner progress.

The role requires strong Fashion Design and Construction skills, confidence with sewing machines, and the ability to engage 16–19 learners in practical skills development within a

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Fashion and Textiles preferred, or an Art background with extensive Fashion experience
• Experience teaching Fashion at Level 2, with UAL Fashion Level 3 experience desirable
• Strong Fashion Design and Construction ability

Responsibilities

• Deliver PDU tutorials using a provided scheme of work
• Design and deliver practical Fashion classes
• Liaise with the Head of School regarding attendance, progress and learner interventions
• Provide 1:1 sessions and academic tutorials for Level 2 learners
