Job summary

Academics Ltd is seeking an EYFS Reception Class Teacher for a Catholic primary school in Stoke-on-Trent. The role is full-time on a long-term supply basis, covering sickness absence from late November with expected extension.

• Holds QTS or equivalent qualified teacher status.
• Experience teaching within EYFS, preferably Reception.
• Enthusiastic, nurturing and passionate about early years education.
• Ability to plan effectively and deliver creative learning experiences.
• Confident in taking full responsibility for a class and maintaining a positive environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons aligned with EYFS.
• Support children's learning and progress across the curriculum.
• Create a stimulating, safe and nurturing classroom.
• Assess, monitor and record pupils' progress.
• Support social, emotional and personal development.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, colleagues and parents to achieve best outcomes.
