Job summary

Academics Ltd is seeking a passionate EYFS Reception class teacher to join a Catholic primary school in Stoke-on-Trent on a full-time, long-term supply basis. You will lead a Reception class of around 30 pupils, starting end of November with a view to extension.

You will plan and deliver EYFS-aligned lessons, support pupils' development, assess progress and work closely with TAs, colleagues and parents to ensure positive outcomes for every child.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS and has experience teaching within EYFS/Reception.
• Able to plan effectively and deliver engaging learning experiences.
• Supports children's development and progress across the EYFS framework.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative EYFS lessons.
• Support learning across all areas of the curriculum.
• Create a stimulating, safe, nurturing classroom environment.
• Assess, monitor and record pupils' progress.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, colleagues and parents.
• Take full responsibility for day-to-day running of the class.
