TeacherActive Ltd in Birmingham seeks a dedicated Teacher of Art for a fixed-term maternity cover ending July 2027. The role covers KS3 and KS4, contributing to GCSE Art and Photography delivery while developing students' drawing abilities.

The ideal candidate holds QTS with Art, has KS3/KS4 teaching experience, and demonstrates strong subject knowledge and creative, engaging lessons. A collaborative, CPD-focused practitioner is preferred.

Qualifications

• QTS with Art specialism.
• Experience teaching Art at KS3 and KS4.
• Strong subject knowledge; knowledge of GCSE Art beneficial.
• Excellent classroom management and ability to deliver engaging lessons.
• Creative and ambitious approach to developing students' artistic skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach Art across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Support delivery of AQA GCSE Art (and GCSE Photography).
