Job summary
TeacherActive is supporting a thriving 11-16 academy in Birmingham to appoint a Teacher of Art on a fixed-term maternity cover contract until July 2027. You will teach Art to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, supporting GCSE Art and Photography while helping students develop their drawing skills.
The successful candidate will hold QTS with an Art specialism, have experience teaching KS3/KS4, and show strong classroom management.
Qualifications
- QTS with an Art specialism.
- Experience teaching Art in KS3 and KS4.
- Strong knowledge of the AQA GCSE Art specification is beneficial.
- Excellent classroom management and ability to deliver engaging lessons.
