Clarence Recruitment Limited is seeking a passionate Design Technology Teacher for a thriving secondary school in Leicester. You will deliver high-quality DT lessons across KS3 and KS4, covering Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering, CAD/CAM, Graphics or Construction.

The role is an ongoing, full-time opportunity with immediate start, supported by a welcoming leadership team and well-equipped DT workshops.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in Design Technology or related subject.
• Experience teaching Design Technology in a secondary school.
• Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach specialist areas: Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering, CAD/CAM, Graphics, or Construction.
• Plan engaging lessons for all abilities.
• Develop workshop skills and promote safe practices.
• Prepare students for GCSE Design Technology and support exam success.
• Monitor, assess and track progress.
• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment.
• Maintain a safe, organised workshop environment.
• Promote creativity, independent learning.
