Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the UK is seeking a capable professional to join its corporate insolvency team. You will manage a portfolio of administrations and CVLs, drive progress, and coordinate with the case manager and officeholders to deliver timely outcomes.

You will work within a collaborative team, identify risks, prepare statutory documents, and liaise with directors, creditors and other stakeholders while developing junior colleagues and contributing to business development efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience of corporate insolvency work, particularly Administrations and CVLs.
• Experience using IPS Cloud and MS Office applications.
• CPI and/or accounting qualification desirable.
• Good working knowledge of insolvency legislation and current case law.
• Experience with preparing statutory reports, notices and other insolvency documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases from appointment to closure.
• Progress cases proactively and set weekly priorities with the manager.
• Identify and escalate technical, commercial and risk matters early.
• Prepare statutory notices, reports and estimated outcome statements.
• Draft correspondence and respond to enquiries from creditors and directors.
• Assist with VAT, PAYE and corporation tax compliance when required.
• Coach and develop junior team members.
