Job summary

SMG is hiring an Insight Executive to join the Nottingham team supporting BMG. You’ll deliver the BMG IQ suite by integrating Boots first‑party data with campaign performance and broader insights.

The role requires turning data into clear, commercially relevant recommendations and presenting them to clients. You’ll manage end-to-end insight projects, build dashboards, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality outputs and client impact.

Qualifications

• Turn complex analysis into a simple, compelling story with a clear “so what”.
• Ability to work with large datasets and structure outputs for analysis.
• Experience building dashboards and visualising data using Power BI.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to tailor insight to different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Analyse campaign and channel performance to identify trends and opportunities.
• Combine Boots first-party data, campaign results and wider sources to build a complete picture.
• Translate analysis into actionable, client-ready recommendations.
• Create compelling presentations and dashboards for clients.
• Manage insight projects from brief to delivery within timelines.
• Quality-check outputs to maintain high standards.
• Build dashboards and tools to enable self-service insights for clients.
• Present findings and recommendations confidently to clients.
• Build strong relationships with client teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure insight meets client objectives and brief.
