A leading media insights firm is seeking a Senior Insight Director to lead its UK operations. The role involves driving innovation in data analysis to fuel growth across retail media. Qualifications

• Proven leadership in insight, analytics, or strategy; ideally in retail, media, or market research.
• Deep knowledge of campaign measurement and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience building and leading high-performing, scalable teams.

Role Overview

Lead SMG’s UK Insight powerhouse – driving innovation, shaping strategy, and turning data into powerful stories that fuel growth across retail media and beyond.

As the Senior Insight Director, you will lead the UK central insight function, driving best‑in‑class measurement and delivering actionable insights across our retail media networks and agency, Capture. You’ll be at the forefront of turning complex data into strategic, future‑facing decisions that create real value for our clients and retail partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 20+ across retail media networks, defining priorities and driving team capability.
• Ensure accurate, timely campaign evaluations and champion operational excellence.
• Deliver insights that shape smarter investment strategies for clients and partners.
• Drive the evolution of plan‑apps and insight measurement frameworks across RMNs.
• Represent SMG in industry conversations on measurement, standardisation, and innovation.
• Identify future measurement trends and translate them into commercial opportunities.
