Our client, an established independent freight company offering forwarding services, is looking for an experienced Freight Inside Sales Coordinator to join their team in Witham.

You'll be calculating freight quotations across all modes of transport, building strong relationships with new and existing clients to maximise business. It goes without saying; a high standard of customer care is prevalent at all times.

Main duties of the Freight Inside Sales Coordinator:

• React to quotations in a timely manner
• All quotes to be issued via inhouse system
• Dealing with both LCL/FCL door to door import/export enquiries
• Answer phone calls from clients and vendors daily
• Reply to any messages received in the general mailbox
• Follow up quotes given seeking clients feedback
• Keep a log of clients feedback
• Researching for new leads

The Freight Inside Sales Coordinator will need:

• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
• Able to work under pressure and prioritise workload
• Able to work on own initiative
• Good analytical skills
• Professional attitude when representing the company
• A strong understanding of the freight industry

The successful Freight Inside Sales Coordinator can expect to earn in the region of £30k in line with previous experience, working Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
