Job summary

Leicester Bus Partnership is seeking a dedicated stop-smoking specialist to join the Acute CURE team across Leicester's hospital network. You will deliver behavioural change support and pharmacotherapy to inpatients with tobacco addiction, working across Glenfield Hospital, Leicester Royal Infirmary and Leicester General Hospital.

You will manage a caseload, monitor progress, and refer clients to community services as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals to change behavior and adopt healthier habits.
• Completion of the NCSCT Knowledge and Skills Programme or willingness to complete within 1 month.
• Strong written and verbal communication with patients and health professionals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver behavioural change support and pharmacotherapy to inpatients with tobacco addiction.
• Manage a caseload and monitor progress, referring to related services as needed.
• Plan and run treatment sessions using motivational interviewing techniques.
