Job summary

Provide is recruiting a Tobacco Dependence Advisor to support the Emergency Department Stop Smoking Service across Norfolk's three acute hospital Trusts, based at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with flexible site coverage across James Paget and Queen Elizabeth Hospitals.

The role focuses on engaging adult smokers, delivering brief interventions, offering vape starter kits, and maintaining follow-up to support quit attempts and service performance.

Qualifications

• NCSCT Practitioner trained or willingness to undertake relevant tobacco dependency training.
• Relevant qualification in health, healthcare, health promotion, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Car owner/driver required.

Responsibilities

• Promote the Stop Smoking Service across Norfolk Acute Trusts and EDs.
• Deliver Very Brief Advice (VBA) to adult patients and visitors who smoke.
• Provide immediate, evidence-based, non-judgemental cessation support and brief interventions.
