Job summary

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust invites applications for a part-time Smoke Free Advisor within the Smoke Free Service across the Directorate of Mental Health. The 12-month fixed-term role is 18.75 hours per week, with flexible hours between 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday.

The post focuses on delivering tobacco treatment advice, one-to-one and group support, and guiding nicotine replacement and vaping choices.

Responsibilities

• Provide tobacco treatment advice and support to individuals and groups of service users who want to stop smoking or reduce harm.
• Coordinate trust-wide activities to promote tobacco cessation and support.
• Liaise with clinical teams to offer targeted support from the Smoke Free Service.
• Deliver training to ward staff to reduce tobacco harm and promote smoke-free settings.
• Plan and manage meetings, trainings, and support sessions across the Directorate.
