Job summary

Thrive Tribe in County Durham is hiring a Specialist Stop Smoking Advisor (SMI) to support clients in communities and partner settings, delivering face-to-face and telephone stop smoking support alongside our online resources.

You will work with people living with severe mental illness, run clinics in community venues, and develop referral pathways with partners to improve access and meet targets. Full training will be provided; NCSCT Stop Smoking Advisor training is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Delivery experience with clients living with SMI or vulnerable groups.
• NCSCT Stop Smoking Advisor training is a bonus.
• Willingness to travel across County Durham and engage with communities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based interventions focusing on smoking cessation, behaviour change and psychological support.
• Run stop smoking clinics in community mental health settings and venues.
• Develop and deliver engagement and marketing initiatives for local SMI groups.
