NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking a supportive worker for Renfrewshire Mental Health Inpatient Wards across three sites: Dykebar, Royal Alexandra and Leverndale. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering direct and indirect care to adults and older people with mental health conditions.

The role involves rotating between sites, PVG/Disclosure checks, and working in a health care environment with effective communication and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of mental health nursing care.
• Experience with mental health issues.
• Evidence of using digital technology/email and basic applications.
• Evidence of written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.

Responsabilités

• Functioning as support worker within a multi-disciplinary team, to a defined patient group.
• Contributing to nursing assessment by implementing and reporting on the prescribed plan of care.
• Contributing to risk assessment and management by identifying concerns and reporting to the named nurse.
• Carrying out nursing care for the defined patient group’s needs.
• Identifying health promotion needs to improve mental and physical wellbeing.
• Addressing issues related to vulnerability, gender health, domestic abuse or self-harm as appropriate.
