NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking a Healthcare Support Worker to join the Rowanbank Clinic inpatient mental health team. The role involves assisting with assessments, implementing care plans, and supporting recovery-focused care for adults and older adults, with a strong emphasis on compassion, dignity and patient engagement.

The post is a permanent, full-time role (36 hours) with rotating long day shifts (0730-2015 days, 2015-0730 nights).

Qualificações

• Knowledge of person-centred, recovery-focused mental health care.
• Understanding of the Healthcare Support Worker Code of Conduct.
• Awareness of current mental health legislation and policy.
• Knowledge of safeguarding principles and risk management.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate inpatient mental health care in partnership with the multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care plans within a recovery-focused framework.
• Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality.
• Support risk assessment, safeguarding and action to promote wellbeing.
• Support learners, supervise students, and ensure a safe clinical environment.
