Job summary

Supply Desk are supporting a highly regarded secondary school in the Chichester area in their search for an enthusiastic and dedicated Media Studies Teacher to join their team after October half term. This is a full-time position teaching Media Studies across KS3 and KS4, with the role expected to continue until Easter 2027.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons, monitoring student progress, and inspiring students to develop their understanding

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent required.
• Strong subject knowledge in Media Studies.
• Experience teaching Media Studies at secondary level.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Ability to differentiate effectively for learners of all abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Media Studies lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
• Contribute positively to departmental planning and development.
