Job summary

The Streetly Academy in Sutton Coldfield invites applications for a specialist Media Studies teacher to deliver approximately 60% of the timetable, with potential for part-time arrangements. Qualifications

• Be a qualified, enthusiastic and committed teacher of Media Studies.
• Have a strong knowledge of the Media Studies curriculum and examination requirements.
• Inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
• Plan and deliver active and engaging learning, which enthuses young people and motivates them to want to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Teach Media Studies to approximately 60% of the timetable, with a second subject to complete a full timetable.
• Plan and deliver active and engaging lessons.
• Set targets that stretch and challenge students of all backgrounds and abilities.
• Support students in developing analytical, creative and practical media skills.
• Contribute positively to the wider life of The Streetly Academy.
