Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you’ll be an inspirational leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support in coaching and developing your team to excel while driving restaurant performance and delivering exceptional results.

What we look for:

  • Focus on creating a positive environment where your team feels cared for and listened to, celebrating successes. Prioritize nurturing and developing talent, role modeling a coaching culture.
  • Dedication to ensuring an excellent guest experience, with dishes prepared to exceptional standards, either personally or through your team.
  • Experience in maintaining high standards of food safety, health, and safety, and understanding the financial aspects of a kitchen, including gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
  • Ability to build a coaching culture, working with your Head Chef on recruitment and ongoing development, fostering personal and professional growth.
  • A forward-thinking problem solver, capable of quick decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, able to have considerate and supportive conversations.
  • Proven experience in food safety, health and safety standards, and financial management of a kitchen.
  • Ability to manage labor costs and adapt to changing demands.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and engage teams.
  • Commitment to creating an inclusive environment where team members feel respected and valued.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly.
