Sun Chemical in Midsomer Norton, United Kingdom, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the Customer Support team. You will assist with laboratory testing, prepare and dispatch ink samples, and work with Technologists to resolve technical issues.

Formación

• A-Level or degree-level education in Chemistry or related discipline required.
• Experience working with laboratory equipment and following defined procedures/SOPs is preferred.
• Good organizational and communication skills essential.

Responsabilidades

• Support customer-related activities through laboratory testing, technology and process improvements.
• Carry out experiments independently and with the team.
• Assist in investigating and resolving customer complaints.
• Prepare and dispatch ink samples to customers.
• Support investigation of manufacturing and product-related issues.
• Operate laboratory equipment safely and according to SOPs.
• Maintain laboratory consumables to ensure smooth workflow.
• Produce clear documentation and complaint reports.
• Apply technical knowledge to ink development and testing challenges.
• Understand print process performance and product application suitability.
• Collaborate with Technologists, Customer Support, suppliers and stakeholders.
