Job Opportunity: Injection Moulding Technician

A bespoke manufacturer of complex technical plastic mouldings for industries such as Medical, Automotive, Electronics, and Packaging is seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Technician to join their busy production facility.

The main focus of the role is to work with the management team to upskill the current workforce, aiming to improve quality, reduce scrap, and optimize production time, thereby helping the business reduce costs and maximize profit margins.

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 depending on experience, working Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

1. Tool changing and condition setting
2. Trialling of new tools
3. Identifying improvements and implementing solutions
4. Collaborating with junior team members to enhance skills
5. Troubleshooting process issues

Candidate Requirements:

• Experienced Setter or Technician with exposure to various machine makes and polymers
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
