Job summary

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Operator to join a busy manufacturing business in the Chesterfield area. You will operate injection moulding machines and automated production lines, and carry out regular quality checks to maintain output.

This long-term role requires a minimum of 3 years' injection moulding experience, basic fault finding skills, and the ability to work flexible days and nights on a 4 on 4 off continental shift pattern (6am-6pm /

Qualifications

• Good understanding of quality control
• Basic mechanical fault finding skills

Responsibilities

Injection Moulding Operator - Chesterfield

£17.60 per hour | 4 On 4 Off | Days & Nights

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Injection Moulding Operator to join a busy manufacturing business based in the Chesterfield area.

This is a long-term opportunity for someone with at least 3 years' injection moulding experience, operating automated machinery within a fast-paced production environment.

The Role:

• Operating injection moulding machines and automated production lines
• Monitoring machinery and maintaining production output
• Carrying out regular quality checks and inspections
• Identifying faults and assisting with basic breakdown repairs
• Supporting machine maintenance, cleaning and lubrication
• Assisting with occasional tool changes and adjustments
• Completing production paperwork and following health & safety procedures

Hours & Pay:

• £17.60 per hour
• 4 on 4 off continental shift pattern
• 2 x 12-hour days (6am - 6pm)
• 2 x 12-hour nights (6pm - 6am)
• 4 days off

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 3 years' injection moulding machine operating experience (essential)
• Experience with automated production machinery
• Good understanding of quality control
• Basic mechanical fault finding skills
• Pneumatic or electrical knowledge advantageous
• Reliable, flexible and able to work independently
• Full UK driving licence and own transport essential
