Job summary

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Operator to join a busy manufacturing business in the Chesterfield area. You will operate injection moulding machines and automated production lines, and carry out regular quality checks to maintain output.

This long-term role requires a minimum of 3 years' injection moulding experience, basic fault finding skills, and the ability to work flexible days and nights on a 4 on 4 off continental shift pattern (6am-6pm /

Qualifications

• 3+ years' injection moulding machine operating experience
• Experience with automated production machinery
• Good understanding of quality control
• Basic mechanical fault finding skills

Responsibilities

• Operate injection moulding machines and automated production lines
• Monitor machinery and maintain production output
• Carry out regular quality checks and inspections
• Identify faults and assist with basic breakdown repairs
• Support machine maintenance, cleaning and lubrication
• Assist with occasional tool changes and adjustments
• Complete production paperwork and follow health & safety procedures
