Job summary

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Operator to join a busy manufacturing site in the Chesterfield area. You will operate injection moulding machines, monitor output, perform quality checks on finished parts and assist with basic fault finding and repairs.

You will also support routine machine maintenance and complete relevant production paperwork to maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' injection moulding experience required.
• Experience with automated production machinery.
• Good understanding of quality control.
• Basic fault finding skills.
• Pneumatic or electrical knowledge advantageous.
• Reliable, flexible and able to work independently.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport essential.

Responsibilities

• Operating injection moulding machines and automated production lines.
• Monitoring machinery and maintaining production output.
• Carrying out regular quality checks and inspections.
• Identifying faults and assisting with basic breakdown repairs.
• Supporting machine maintenance, cleaning and lubrication.
• Assisting with occasional tool changes and adjustments.
• Completing production paperwork and following health & safety procedures.
• 4 on 4 off continental shift pattern.
• 4 days off.
