Job summary

Solutions Limited in Stevenage is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with injection moulding experience to design tools and tooling components in 3D and 2D. You will join a small design team reporting to the director and take projects from concept through manufacture.

CAD experience with Creo and SolidWorks is essential; cross-training is available for other packages. The role offers autonomy, exposure to medical, automotive, and packaging sectors, with 41.5 hours per week, overtime paid at

Qualifications

• Experienced Design Engineer with injection moulding background.
• Ability to work independently; tooling design experience valued.
• Strong CAD skills with Creo or SolidWorks required.

Responsibilities

• Design high-precision injection mould tools from single-impression to multi-cavity systems.
• Manage projects and liaise with customers; conduct design reviews and ensure DFM.
• Collaborate with in-house toolroom to take designs through manufacture.
