Job summary

Miller's Vanguard is seeking an Infrastructure Support Engineer to provide IT assistance across the business, focusing on office-based staff and their equipment. Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, you will back up the IS Manager and work across server and desktop environments.

You will diagnose and resolve technical issues, install software, configure laptops and mobile devices, apply security updates and assist with IT projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
• Experience providing desktop and server support.
• Experience configuring laptops, desktops and mobile devices.

Job description

JOB PURPOSE

Reporting directly to the Infrastructure Manager, the Infrastructure Support Engineer will provide effective IT assistance across all aspects of the business and will provide back up and support to the IS Manager, the Infrastructure & Security Manager & the Applications Manager.

The position is responsible for supporting and maintaining the Microsoft Server and Desktop operating systems plus general maintenance of all IT-related hardware/software. The position provides exposure to a broad range of IT-related projects and activities.

Primary focus of the role is to office based staff with their equipment and office environment.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
