Job summary

Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (SCIB) in London seeks a Vice President to lead Infrastructure Structured Finance initiatives. You will support debt advisory, underwriting and lending projects across the UK, Ireland, and Nordics, and mentor junior staff.

The role requires extensive experience in structured finance, strong client relationships and leadership, with a focus on delivering complex funding solutions and strategic advisory.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a similar role within Structured Finance.
• Deep infrastructure sector knowledge and interest.
• In-depth understanding of debt, equity and derivative markets and solutions.
• Demonstrable track record of building productive business relationships.
• Experience of writing proposals and supporting business development activities.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to communicate complex concepts to a senior audience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of new and existing mandates across lending and debt advisory.
• Mentor and develop less experienced members of staff, providing constructive feedback.
• Manage client relationships and coordinate with Debt Capital Markets, Ratings Advisory and Risk Solutions.
