Job summary

Vodafone is seeking an Infrastructure Specialist to oversee upgrades on telecom infrastructure projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. You will manage customer applications and collocation requests, lead vendor coordination, monitor progress, and report status to stakeholders.

A 3+ year background in telecommunications infrastructure and a relevant degree are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-year Degree/National Diploma e.g. BSc (Construction Management) or Project Management (essential)
• Drivers Licence Code 08 (essential)
• 3+ years’ experience in managing contractors & budgets in technical environment (essential)
• Telecommunications Infrastructure experience (essential)
• Managing of tower modifications and customer applications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee infrastructure upgrades on existing projects from initiation to completion, on time, within budget and to prescribed quality standards.
• Manage customer applications, collocation & amendments requests and provide progress reports on tower progress.
• Lead vendor management, clearly assigning tasks and providing support and guidance.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize upgrade disruptions.
• Monitor progress, ensure data integrity, prepare and present reports on project progress and budgets.
