Job summary

ECS Resource Group is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solutions Architect for a hybrid role in Dunstable, leading enterprise infrastructure design and governance. You will translate business requirements into scalable architectures across cloud, hosting, compute, storage and security domains.

The role emphasises delivering robust designs, influencing engineering and senior leadership, and guiding Cloud migration or modernization initiatives within a complex technology estate.

Qualifications

• Strong Infrastructure / Solutions Architecture background.
• Azure and AWS in hybrid cloud environments.
• Compute, storage, virtualization, hosting, data centre technologies.
• Enterprise networking including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Wi‑Fi and cloud connectivity.
• Infrastructure security, IAM and Zero Trust principles.
• Producing and presenting HLDs, LLDs and architecture decisions.
• Cloud migration, infrastructure modernisation or transformation programmes.
• Stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leadership.

Solutions Architect – Infrastructure

Location: Dunstable (Hybrid working)

Rate: £625 (Inside IR35)

Length: 6 months

Role Profile

We’re looking for an experienced Infrastructure Solutions Architect to join a leading organisation and play a key role in shaping and assuring enterprise infrastructure solutions across a broad technology estate.

You’ll work across Cloud, Hosting, Compute, Storage, Networking, EUC, Identity, Security and Operational Services, translating business and technical requirements into robust, scalable and supportable architectures.

Key experience:

• Strong Infrastructure / Solutions Architecture background
• Azure / AWS and hybrid cloud environments
• Compute, storage, virtualisation, hosting and datacentre technologies
• Enterprise networking including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi and cloud connectivity
• Infrastructure security, IAM and Zero Trust principles
• Producing and presenting HLDs, LLDs, OSDs and architecture decisions
• Cloud migration, infrastructure modernisation or transformation programmes
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence engineering, delivery and senior leadership

Desirable: TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS certification, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps/automation or FinOps experience.
