Job summary

Experis in London is seeking an Infrastructure Architecture Lead to drive end-to-end infrastructure architecture across compute, storage, cloud, and network domains. You will provide architectural leadership and oversee security, monitoring, and governance while aligning solutions with business goals.

The role requires guiding multi-disciplinary teams, translating business needs into pragmatic technical designs, and working with stakeholders across delivery, engineering, and client teams.

Qualifications

• Strong infrastructure architecture experience across enterprise environments.
• Broad knowledge of cloud platforms, data centres, networking, and infrastructure operations.
• Experience of cyber security principles including Zero Trust, identity, segmentation, and infrastructure security.
• Understanding of monitoring, observability, event management, and operational tooling.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary technical teams and complex transformation programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into pragmatic technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own the infrastructure architecture roadmap and target-state designs.
• Lead architecture activities across compute, storage, cloud, network, workplace, and platform services.

• Define infrastructure standards, patterns, and best practices.

• Provide leadership to architects and technical SMEs across the programme.

Infrastructure Architecture Lead

Duration: Contract to run until 30/01/2027

Location: London. Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite

Rate: up to £678.96 p/d Umbrella inside IR35

Role purpose / summary

Lead the end-to-end infrastructure architecture workstream, ensuring the design and delivery of secure, resilient, scalable, and operationally supportable infrastructure solutions. The role provides architectural leadership across infrastructure, network, cyber security, and monitoring domains while aligning solutions to business and technology objectives.
