Job summary

Experis - ManpowerGroup in London is seeking an Infrastructure Architecture Lead to own end-to-end architecture for secure, scalable infrastructure. You will provide leadership across infrastructure, cloud, network, cyber security and monitoring domains to align with business and technology objectives.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, translate business requirements into pragmatic designs and drive architecture roadmaps within a hybrid London environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise infrastructure architectures.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, data centres, networking and operations.
• Understanding of cyber security principles including Zero Trust and identity management.
• Experience with monitoring, observability and event management.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary technical teams and complex programmes.

Responsibilities

• Own the infrastructure architecture roadmap and target-state designs.
• Lead architecture activities across compute, storage, cloud, network, workplace, and platform services.
• Provide governance for Cyber Security, Network and Monitoring workstreams.
• Ensure solutions meet security, resilience, operational and compliance requirements.
• Define infrastructure standards, patterns and best practices.
• Collaborate with delivery, engineering, security and client stakeholders to drive decisions.
• Review and approve high-level and low-level solution designs.
• Support risk identification, mitigation planning and technical assurance activities.
• Provide leadership to architects and SMEs across the programme.

Infrastructure Architecture Lead

Contract to run until 30/01/2027

London. Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite

Rate: up to £678.96 p/d Umbrella inside IR35

Role purpose / summary

Lead the end-to-end infrastructure architecture workstream, ensuring the design and delivery of secure, resilient, scalable, and operationally supportable infrastructure solutions. The role provides architectural leadership across infrastructure, network, cyber security, and monitoring domains while aligning solutions to business and technology objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the infrastructure architecture roadmap and target-state designs.
• Lead architecture activities across compute, storage, cloud, network, workplace, and platform services.
• Provide oversight and governance for Cyber Security, Network, and Monitoring workstreams.
• Ensure solutions meet security, resilience, operational, and compliance requirements.
• Define infrastructure standards, patterns, and best practices.
• Work closely with delivery, engineering, security, and client stakeholders to drive architectural decisions.
• Review and approve high-level and low-level solution designs.
• Support risk identification, mitigation planning, and technical assurance activities.
• Provide leadership to architects and technical SMEs across the programme.

• Broad knowledge of cloud platforms, data centres, networking, and infrastructure operations.

• Experience leading multi-disciplinary technical teams and complex transformation programmes.
