Job summary

ECS Resource Group Ltd invites an experienced Infrastructure Solutions Architect to shape enterprise infrastructure across Cloud, Hosting, Compute, Storage and Networking. You will translate business requirements into scalable architectures and present HLDs/LLDs/OSDs to senior leadership.

You'll work across security, IAM and Zero Trust, drive cloud migration and infrastructure transformation initiatives, and collaborate with engineering teams in a hybrid Dunstable environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in infrastructure/solutions architecture.
• Proficiency with Azure and AWS in hybrid cloud environments.
• Strong networking, security and IAM knowledge.
• Ability to produce HLDs/LLDs/OSDs and related decisions.

Solutions Architect - Infrastructure

Location: Dunstable (Hybrid working)

Rate: £625 (Inside IR35)

Length: 6 months

Role Profile

We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Solutions Architect to join a leading organisation and play a key role in shaping and assuring enterprise infrastructure solutions across a broad technology estate.

You’ll work across Cloud, Hosting, Compute, Storage, Networking, EUC, Identity, Security and Operational Services, translating business and technical requirements into robust, scalable and supportable architectures.

Key experience:

• Strong Infrastructure / Solutions Architecture background
• Azure / AWS and hybrid cloud environments
• Compute, storage, virtualisation, hosting and datacentre technologies
• Enterprise networking including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi and cloud connectivity
• Infrastructure security, IAM and Zero Trust principles
• Producing and presenting HLDs, LLDs, OSDs and architecture decisions
• Cloud migration, infrastructure modernisation or transformation programmes
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence engineering, delivery and senior leadership

Desirable:

• TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS certification, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps/automation or FinOps experience.
