Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a commercially sharp Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager to take real ownership and client exposure on high-profile infrastructure projects. You will lead cost management and contract administration from day one, driving forecast accuracy, budget control, and cost reporting through to final account.

Ideal candidates have infrastructure or major programme experience, strong NEC contract knowledge (Option C preferred), and MRICS status or working towards it.

Qualifications

• Quantity Surveying experience in infrastructure, civil engineering, or major programmes.
• Strong NEC contract knowledge (Option C preferred).
• MRICS qualification or working towards it.
• Degree in a relevant subject.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management and contract administration across major infrastructure projects.
• Drive forecast accuracy, budget control, and cost reporting to final account.
• Manage NEC contracts with confidence and precision.
• Identify and manage commercial risk, change, and cash flow.
• Build relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members as your career progresses.
