Job Title – Quantity Surveyor – Energy Infrastructure

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support high‑profile Energy Infrastructure projects across the UK. The role involves cost control, contract management, value engineering and collaboration with client and contractor teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer contracts in line with project objectives, policies and budgets.
  • Provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion.
  • Pro‑actively manage cost variance, contract cash flow and applications.
  • Collaborate with client and contractor teams to deliver project KPIs, performance and value engineering.
  • Manage contract change effectively, ensuring governance and best practice.
  • Drive improvements in forecast accuracy and budget management.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree level (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Engineering or related discipline.
  • Professional membership (e.g., RICS, CIOB) or pursuing membership.
  • Experience of working on major programmes and projects in the Energy, Power or Infrastructure sectors.
  • Knowledge of NEC contract management (NEC3, Option C or NEC4 preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cost and risk on complex infrastructure or energy projects.
