Job summary

Aureos Capital seeks an experienced Project Director to lead the building facet of Washwood Heath Deport, steering complex projects from inception to completion. You will ensure on-time delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality results aligned with the Taylor Woodrow / Aureos JV objectives.

The role requires 15+ years in project management within infrastructure, with at least 5 years in senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in project management within the infrastructure sector, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or Director-level role.
• Proven track record delivering large, complex infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, railways, data centres, utilities).
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP).

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the building aspect of the project lifecycle for large-scale infrastructure projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
• Develop comprehensive project plans with scope, WBS, resources, and timelines.
• Manage project budgets and cost efficiencies without compromising quality or safety.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks with contingency plans.
• Build and lead high-performing project teams with mentorship and performance management.
• Foster relationships with clients, stakeholders, contractors, and regulators, ensuring effective communication.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards, health and safety, environmental policies, and JV procedures.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in management methodologies and efficiency.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
