Job summary

Sanderson in West Sussex is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to own and develop a business-critical technology environment. You will lead a technical team and drive improvements across networks, servers, storage, and end-user computing.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Director, you will shape infrastructure strategy, manage third-party providers, ensure security and ISO 27001 compliance, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to meet future business needs.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in IT infrastructure management.
• Strong technical background across Microsoft infrastructure, networks, and endpoints.
• Experience building and guiding infrastructure teams.
• Understanding of ITIL service management and operational best practices.
• Experience managing third-party providers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop an Infrastructure Engineering team.
• Oversee networks, servers, storage, data centres and end-user computing.
• Manage Microsoft technologies including AD, Exchange, Intune, Teams, SharePoint and Copilot.
• Drive infrastructure improvements, upgrades and modernisation initiatives.
• Oversee backup, disaster recovery, business continuity and infrastructure resilience.
• Lead major incident management, root cause analysis and problem resolution.
• Maintain security and compliance standards, including ISO 27001.
• Manage third-party suppliers and infrastructure service providers.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders to shape infrastructure strategy and support future business requirements.
